Hai Ho sealhunters. Gifflo's back in black, bad to the bone. It's horribly sad that the forums seems to be lacking life. I haven't posted any comments for a long time, but I sincerely hope that we could bring a change to that from now and on. Seal Hunter 2 is on the final steps. Let's get active in order to pwn the beta. Warm up your magnums. Let's mess up some seals.

(And we still haven't completed the multiplayer Magnum (500) - Minigun (12500) yet, But we're damn close)

Well, tracking which player failed is almost impossible, but since most players play the default setup in multiplayer mode, tracking in what area the seals reach the right side of the screen would be appreciated. A headshot count would be quite cool too. A percentage-rate of HS's.

Might've been me who posted the one about revolver -> minigun. But that one is only for the challenge, I can't seem to find a much harder tactic (Except for like, original to minigun, but that's just ridiculus), or doing lvl 5 with some really shitty weapons. Me and the NP proved that it actually is doable to go dual Revolver to Miniguns a few days ago. Or atleast we almost did, we died at the point where I, player 1, had the MG, and NP had 12395 $. In other words, we were just about 1 penguin away from the ultimate victory. The Mac 10 to MG seems like some fun shit, but a little bit too easy maybe. But if you wanna play around and just finish the game, I guess it's a really fun tactic ^^.

haha, I must admit that I was utterly sceptic when I first saw your link and the soundtrack you've made ^^. But it was hilarious! And you're right, It definitely won't do as the main soundtrack. But you do deserve alot of cred for making that song, there's some room for improvements, but overall, It exceeded my expectations. (Which might even more enlight how low my expectations were when I first downloaded it) ;)

Does fraps really work with sealhunter? I haven't gotten it to work together yet, so I got myself another program called Camtasia Studio 6, which works, not at the rate of perfection, but it works.
(And some additional info: Yeah, Fraps is probably the easiest and most simple recording-program ever, I'm not stupid, I've used it before, but I can't even get it to start together with Sealhunter)
Or are you (Toumaz) referring to your new version of sealhunter? Have you tried it together with the old one?

I've also seen the videos on youtube ofcourse, I guess they're recorded with fraps too, but I can't seem to get mine working. Anyone else confronting this issue? Please do post a reply.

Yours truly, even when fraps sux.

It is (Just as the screenshot proves) possible. I made it to the polar bears once when I tried it out, but I didn't get enough cash :(, had about 9,7-9,8 k.

So then, As requested, here is the picture of me and NP when we just killed the polar bears ^^. It is indeed doable. Just hard as hell until you get the MG. The reason to why its all cleared is that we accidentaly out of pure happiness happened to tab down when we wanted to save our screenshot.

You should (Since they stole our mine) steal the worms sound of the mine :), would be really cool, I love the sound of it.

Yea or just make it very cheap or even the very first weapon you get :)
It would be cool if it had a slowing effect on bigger creatures  8)

Nice ideas there ;)! I'm getting more and more thrilled for the release of this game each day!

Not trying to bring you down or anything ^^, but the
Player 1: Revolver -> MG
Player 2: Revolver -> Colt -> MG
Is really a cakewalk compared to this one ^^, Me and the NP does that one for warmups and stuff sometimes, so it's not really a challenge at all anymore tbh.
This new one is quite much heavier. And just to prove that this tactic (Dual Revolver -> MG) actually is possible (Which we already knew before, but now it's been practically proven) I got a screenshot from today when I and the NP killed the polarbears ;). If there's any interest at all, I could post it here, but I'll give it a rest until when that time comes. (If it ever does, that is)

Ever heard of information overload :)?
Anyhow, thx for all of it!
A very interesting post indeed ;)!

Going back to an older discussion in this topic, I am still going nuts on the dual Revolver -> MG tactic, Me and NP tried it out today, and it appears to be one very hardcore tactic. As it is today, the Polar Bear bosses at lvl 3, is impossible with dual magnum. This then means ofcourse means that one of the players MUST have the MG (Yeah, MG = Minigun) before the team reaches the end of lvl 3. Me and NP sat down and thought for a few minutes before testing the tactic out for real, if it even was possible. Our very fast and sloppy conclusion that the overall cash the team will be able to get is approx 16-17 k before lvl 3. This ofcourse brings in all the elements of our other topic, the one about the scoring system and cash system, into the problem. But we decided to stop our research after the 4 minutes we spent in class, painting it up in our notebooks, if someone is ready to take this issue very far, please bring in all the facts and equations from the other topic and enlighten us!

Anyhow, our very fast done research proved to be pretty applyable to the tactic.

This means: Overall budget, 16-17 k.
- 1 k for the 2 revolvers.
That leaves 15-16 k. Thinking of that player 1 or 2 will have to cash in atleast 12,5 k of these, makes this a damn hard tactic since player 2 can't really backup player 1 in addition to make this tactic work. However, if someone is really in need of a challenge, try this shit out! Promise you that it will lead to some quite intense and interesting situations. (And btw, so far me and the NP managed to in a few tries get 11,5 k at maximum when the bosses arrived, we're definitely continuing our journey to fulfill this legendary tactic, until then, GL and HF with this! )

(After that i wrote this post I noticed that there was no real point with it, but enjoy reading! Since it was such a fat post i couldn't bare erasing it all)

Definitely, saw the update on a few hours ago ;), seems like a step on the road leading to epic sealkilling and final judgement for the ultimate bosses. (Basically, I just want to kill seals and let the eskimos prevail, but it sounds alot better when you say it like that!)
And regarding the beta, I'm looking mucho grande forward to it ;).

And uhm.. Not to go 100 % off topic.. Melee weapons seems like a cool idea, but I can imagine that it's hard to get them in balance with all the other weapons. They'll probably need some really heavy AoE.
