Nice tactics, and I agree that part of the charm of the game is to find weird combos that work out.

In single player, my patented Hand Grenades ($1500) to Vintage Shotgun ($10000) has so far yielded a high score of 221878 and I challenge anyone to beat that with any other tech.

Interesting though, that it is actually possible to get $10k before the polar bear with grenades and not with MP5  :o

yes, I actually tried and only got about $9k when the polar bear came  :'(

Those gib bonuses do add up.

By the way, you should have about 5-5.5k after the penguins.

It is (Just as the screenshot proves) possible. I made it to the polar bears once when I tried it out, but I didn't get enough cash :(, had about 9,7-9,8 k.

Someone said that the revolver/minigun before the polar bears proved that it worked but there are many other tactics to get the minigun before the polarbears. I posted one before with the mp5-> minigun, easier then with the revolver ofc if your looking for the challenge.

Personally me and Schmidt are working on a new tact atm: Mac-10 -> Minigun
Its amazing fun taking down the fat seal with just the original pistols. You get the Mac-10 in good time before the penguins and then its just a spray and pray. The problem is that someone must be slightly bosted to get 12,5k before the turtles to get the MG before they come. Guess its kind of easy after you get the mac10s but its very funny and for thoose who tried know that the lvl 1 fat seal aint to easy with just pistols.

Thanks for the reading guys its keeping the wicked seal killing ideas evolving =)

Might've been me who posted the one about revolver -> minigun. But that one is only for the challenge, I can't seem to find a much harder tactic (Except for like, original to minigun, but that's just ridiculus), or doing lvl 5 with some really shitty weapons. Me and the NP proved that it actually is doable to go dual Revolver to Miniguns a few days ago. Or atleast we almost did, we died at the point where I, player 1, had the MG, and NP had 12395 $. In other words, we were just about 1 penguin away from the ultimate victory. The Mac 10 to MG seems like some fun shit, but a little bit too easy maybe. But if you wanna play around and just finish the game, I guess it's a really fun tactic ^^.

Just as Gifflo said ^^ , we were real close to finishing the Revolver--MG. Gifflo did a real good job of covering me since I only had the revolver but a baby seal got through. If I just gotten another $100 there we would have finished the game easily since lvl 5 is a walk in the park if you both have miniguns. We're not far away now and we should be able to complete the game with that tactic soon.

I combo I use which I don't think has been used yet but it works well for me in Singleplayer is..
We'd use much the same approach in Two player.

Magnum>Dual Mach10s>Vintage Shotgun.

Haha, I came from a school of about 1000 and literally everyone who had a laptop was playing seal hunter, we'd break it down to an art form. :'D

So me and Schimdt are at it again... Instead of the Mac10 > Minigun we decided Mac10 > Vintage would be more fun and by god it is =D we cant stop laughing while we play. But it dosent provide much score tho... we completed it with 300k. I guess the low score is due to whole lvl 1 and almost whole lvl 2 only being done with stock pistols. But still its hilarious give it a try

The one that I usually go for:

Player 1: Magnum (500$) - Grenade Launcher (5000$) - Minigun (12500$)
Player 2:Magnum (500$) - Uzi (3500$) - Vintage (10000$)

Got first win with this one ;D:

Player 1: Grenade (1500$) - Grenade Launcher (5000$) - Minigun (12500$)
Player 2: Mp5 (1000$) - Colt (6000$) - Vintage (10000$)

Oh and yea this one is a whole lot of fun:

Player 1: Grenade (1500$) - Vintage (10000$)
Player 2:Magnum (500$) - Uzi (3500$) - Vintage (10000$)

They are obviously not as hard as most other tactics around here, but we finished it for the first time for like 2 weeks ago, so we will get there.

Hai Ho sealhunters. Gifflo's back in black, bad to the bone. It's horribly sad that the forums seems to be lacking life. I haven't posted any comments for a long time, but I sincerely hope that we could bring a change to that from now and on. Seal Hunter 2 is on the final steps. Let's get active in order to pwn the beta. Warm up your magnums. Let's mess up some seals.

(And we still haven't completed the multiplayer Magnum (500) - Minigun (12500) yet, But we're damn close)

Here are a few of combinations that TheGopper and I have finished the original Seal Hunter v1.2 with:

Player 1: Magnum($500) -> Minigun($12500)
Player 2: Magnum($500)
Yes, Player 2 sticks with Magnum for the whole game

Player 1: Magnum($500) -> Minigun ($12500)
Player 2: MP5($1000)

I can't remember which one, but with one of the above two combinations, we ended the game with abouut $38000-40000 between us. I think one of those got us our highscore of 490000+ or thereabouts but I can't remember now :-\

Player 1: Magnum($500) -> Colt($6000)
Player 2: Magnum($500) -> Colt($6000)
Colt makes such a nice sound when it fires  :) The hardest part of this combination is pushing back the turtles. But as long you stay in its L.O.S you'll be alll good

Player 1: Magnum ($500) -> M79($5000) -> Minigun($12500)
Player 2: Magnum ($500) -> M79($5000) -> Minigun($12500)
This is pretty much a guaranteed win

Player 1: Magnum($500) -> AWP($7500)
Player 2: Magnum($500) -> AWP($7500)
Double snipes is pretty fun

And many more combinations.

Pretty sure we've tried every possible combination. Some are just not possible eg two Magnums for the whole game (how would you get past level 3 boss...)

I think TheGopper and I tried that, but we could never get past level 3 boss I don't think...
